Cat from Japan is Call the City’s latest recording and newest “pet” project. This track was written as homage to David Bowie, Hello Kitty, Tom Wilson’s cartoon Ziggy, cool ESL students and our cats.
Call the City has produced a mixed-media sculpture featuring a playable version of Cat from Japan, which will be exhibited as part of BOWIE a gallery exhibition at CLARK & FARIA, Toronto. The exhibition runs 30 July to 6 September 2009.
Call the City is a band from Vancouver that has been performing, writing and recording new wave influenced music since 2007.
